Deann Bradford is the Executive Director of Leadership Donelson-Hermitage. She is a native of Roswell, New Mexico. She is married to Mike Bradford and they have two children, four grandchildren and four great grandchildren. She is a member of the Church of Christ.
Deann attended Volunteer State University, has been in Tennessee since 1976 and is retired from the Metropolitan Nashville Airport Authority where she was Community Relations Manager.
The customer service training program – Courtesy First which she co-designed received national recognition within the aviation and transportation community. In addition, she held a lead role in the Inaugural flights of American Airlines to London, England, led the Arts in the Airport Team, worked with the Airport Authority President and Board of Directors on special projects and coordinated international aviation trade conferences in Nashville.
Civic involvement includes: Board Member of The Donelson Hermitage Chamber of Commerce; Past President and current board member of Tennessee Association of Community Leadership. She has served on the boards of Andrew Jackson’s Hermitage; FiftyForward Donelson Station Senior Center; and was Founding President of the Larry Keeton Theatre/Senior Center for the Arts.
She is a 1999 graduate of Leadership Donelson-Hermitage, received the Betty Cannon Leadership Spirit award in 2004, the President’s Special Award from the Donelson Hermitage Chamber in 2005; the 2009 Star Spangled Salute John M. Stone Community Spirit Award; and the Robert M. Smith Leadership Award from Tennessee Association for Community Leadership in 2009.
Through Leadership Donelson Hermitage she promotes community involvement to the over 500 alumni as well as to the current adult business class members, the YELL program members, the M3LDH class members as well as the community as a whole. Opportunities for involvement are presented to these groups along with encouragement to participate in their community.
