Modern, Mature and Motivated (M3) is how we define our leadership program for dynamic, active senior adults age 50+. Our M3 Leadership program began in 2008 and is made up of retired or semi-retired adults who wish to learn more about their community and become more involved in making Donelson, Hermitage and Old Hickory a better place to live.
Participants are expected to attend orientation, a one day retreat and program days intended to enhance community awareness, and participate on a class project. Program days include topics impacting our community such as: History; Diversity & Volunteering; Government; Transportation; Culture; Faith; Criminal Justice; and Transportation
Working with the M3 Projects Chair each class will work together on a community project. Some examples of past projects include: working shows at the Larry Keeton Theatre at the FiftyForward Donelson Station; volunteering at Second Harvest Food Bank in Donelson; and Cleaning the signs at Andrew Jackson’s Hermitage.
M3 Leadership Class members are encouraged to volunteer in their community.
To participate in this program complete the application and follow the application guidelines.
